My favorite Bible verse is...Isaiah 26:3 " You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. "

This is my second year at RCS. This year I will be starting my 18th year of teaching and I truly love teaching. I am originally from Orlando, FL but my teaching career has led me all over the world. I have had the privilege to teach in Saipan and in Taiwan. I love working with children and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for our class this year. Over the years, I have taught multiple grade levels. I started with kindergarten and then moved to k-4 (4 year old kindergarten). After that, I taught 1st grade and then moved to 3rd grade where I have spent the bult of my career. I do have expereicne with 2nd and 4th grade as well.  I am thankful to have the privilege to serve such a loving, gracious and merciful God and to work at a Christian school. 

I attended college at Atlantic Baptist Bible College in Chester, VA where I received a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. 

My husband and I attend Open Door Baptist Church where we attend regularly and are actively involved in various ministries.
