Weekly Parent Letter
Dear Warrior Nation,
2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” I love the first part of this verse – God is able. No matter what circumstances we find ourselves in, what challenges we face, or what uncertainty lies ahead, He is able – able to make all grace abound to us. Why is that important? When we look at the world around us, we see how dark it has become. We cannot accomplish ANYTHING of eternal value in our own strength. That grace is sufficient in every circumstance, at any time, which gives us all we need for abundant success. May our lives be a continual conversation with our Creator as we walk out the successes and challenges, joys and sorrows, and enjoy the little blessings God has given to us.
Welcome to the end of Week 3! With the middle of the first quarter approaching, please check in with your students and teachers, if necessary, to ensure they are on track for success. I appreciate the joy, energy, and support we have felt across campus as students have returned, and new families have joined Warrior Nation!!
I also want to remind you of our first school community event coming up later this month. On Wednesday, 23 September, we will gather around the flagpole to take part in the annual See You At The Pole event – a nationwide student-led worship and prayer event. There will also be breakfast available for anyone interested. More information will be coming on that soon.
Please be in prayer for our fall sports teams and their coaches: Girls’ Volleyball, Competitive Cheer squad, Boys’ Soccer, Cross Country, and Middle School Football. September is a busy month for our teams. Pray for endurance, strength, and safety as they represent Christ and RCS in all they do!
May the Lord bless you all as you celebrate Labor Day with friends and family. Thank you for your partnership in Educating Hearts and Minds for Christ.
