Meredith DeVoe

My husband and I made a commitment to serve the Lord full-time in 1999, and after attending Word of Life Bible Institute and Davis College, earning Bachelors in Religious Education, we moved our family to Nigeria in 2006 in answer to God's call. I taught at Hillcrest School beginning in 2007 and have filled the role of teacher in Kindergarten, Grade 3, HS Bible, ES Music, and ES Art. I earned my Masters in Curriculum and Teaching from Fresno Pacific University in 2017 and became ES Principal in 2020, just as COVID's impact really hit Nigeria. I have been privileged to lead worship singing as well, literally hundreds of times, in school Chapels and Sunday worship. Our kids both graduated from Hillcrest and live in the Richmond area. Our son, Ryan, is married with two beautiful daughters; and our daughter Sarah is working on a Masters in Counseling through Liberty University. Besides singing and guitar playing, I also enjoy painting, hiking, cooking, and reading. We are grateful for our years in Nigeria and for God's faithfulness throughout our time there, and we look forward to being part of the RCS community and God's continued faithfulness.
