Resource Teacher

It gives me great joy to begin my first year at RCS.  For the last twenty years, I have worked in the public school system providing technological support.  In the last few years, the Lord has laid it on my heart to go in a different direction, and being hired as the technology teacher is an answered prayer.  God is good!  It is such a blessing and privilege to be part of the RCS family.

I have resided in Virginia my entire life and have lived since the age of thirteen in Chesterfield County.  The Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to teach and lead in the youth and children ministries at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where my family attends.  Not necessarily my life verse, but I try to live out Romans 10:14-15 daily: “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?  And how can they believe in the one whom they have not heard?  And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?  As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (NIV)

I am married to my wife, Tori, and we have a son, Eli.  I enjoy hunting, fishing, and working on our farm.  I also enjoy sports (football, basketball, baseball, golf) and a good board game of Risk, Monopoly, or Chess.  As a family, we love taking kids fishing and hunting through our outdoor ministry called “God’s Great Outdoor Ministry” and teaching about God’s creation.  “Enjoy the creation, Worship the Creator”
