Kristen Lehmann
Hello! My name is Kristen Lehmann. I was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA. area in a wonderful Christian home. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a teacher and was often found teaching my dolls and stuffed animals in my bedroom. I graduated in 2005 from Liberty University with a BS in Elementary Education with concentrations in Psychology and English. I taught 4th grade for 6 years at a public school in Forest, VA.
I met my husband, Dominic, while attending Church. We have now been married for 16 years. In 2011, we adopted our oldest son, Maddox, who is now 12 and will be in 6th grade at RCS this fall. A few years later, we adopted our youngest son, Miller, who will be in Kindergarten this fall at RCS. Once Maddox was born, I decided to take a break from teaching and be a stay-at-home mom. Over the past several years, I have been substitute teaching in various grades and with various ages.
Our family moved to Chesterfield three years ago for my husband’s job and we have worked hard to establish roots here in our new home. It was not easy leaving friends and family, but God had a plan and has been so faithful to us. It is amazing to see how God has paved the way to where we are today. So, after 12 years, I am excited to join the family here at RCS and reopen the doors to teaching full-time. I will be teaching Kindergarten this year and am grateful for the opportunity to teach God’s little ones about Him and so much more. I am excited to meet all of you and look forward to serving alongside you. To God be the glory!
