Dear Warrior Nation,

One of the greatest gifts I have received from a student is a Jesus Calling daily flip calendar that has a devotion and relevant scriptures for every day of the year. Each devotion is written from the perspective of God talking to us, as the reader. As we move quickly through the month of January, lots of people are sharing concerns over what 2024 might bring. So, I want to share an excerpt from one of the devotions from this week to encourage and remind you that God, not the government, media, or online influencers, is truly in control:

“Seek My Face, and you will find more than you ever dreamed possible. Let me displace worry at the center of your being. I am like a supersaturated cloud, showers Peace into the pool of your mind. My Nature is to bless. Your nature is to receive with Thanksgiving. This is a true fit, designed before the foundation of the world. Glorify Me by receiving My blessings gratefully.”*

The author references the following scriptures: Psalm 27:8, Philippians 4:7, and Jeremiah 29:13. So, seek the Father’s face, lean on His strength, and trust that His hand holds you and your world firmly in His grasp.

Don’t forget next Thursday is our first Open House event of 2024 as we begin plans for the 2024-25 school year. We already have 10 families registered, but there is room for more! If you have a family in mind that you feel would be a great addition to the Warrior Nation family, have them call the front office at 804-276-3193 to register. We will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the library with snacks, an introduction to the leadership team, and a welcome from me. This will be followed by a campus tour and a chance to meet with and talk with our amazing teachers. Thank you in advance for your partnership in this area!

Coming Very Soon - Please keep an eye out in your email for re-enrollment for the 2024-2045 school year. We give you, our current RCS families, the first opportunity to secure your student’s seat for next year and look forward to continuing our partnership with you. Please remember that once new enrollment is open for prospective families, seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If we get to a point where a grade level is filled, all subsequent students will be placed on a waiting list. So please don’t delay and risk losing your child’s spot. We want to continue serving your family!
